Are Marxists for peace?

The April 20 national mobilization for peace involved about 100,000 peace activists. It had originally been called during the previous summer as a march against “Plan Colombia.” After September 11, the focus shifted toward those who opposed President Bush’s handling of what the commercial media call the, “War Against Terrorism.” As April 20 grew close, the Israeli attack against the Palestinian people dominated the headlines. Most commercial coverage of the April 20 march focused exclusively on the plight of the Palestinians.
